Japanese Cherry Blossom Tea
Adorable tiny cherry blossoms preserved in cherry blossom essence. Place in cup and gently pour hot water over it. Watch the petals unfurl and turn translucent pink. This is a very delicate tasting tea with no caffeine. Each foil packet has 2 cherry blosssoms in a liquid essence. Dont be concerned when you open it up and the petals are amber as they will turn pink in hot water. Each packet comes with a youji stick or Japanese wooden stick to use to remove the petals from the packet and also to pick up the cherry blossoms to nibble on after your tea is gone. For special parties add to white wine, sake or spirits, but make sure you open them up in hot water first.
