Yerba Mate Gourd and Bombilla Straw
Traditional gourd for sipping yerba mate- includes silver straw or bombilla. Place yerba mate into gourd (about 2/3 full) and pour hot water over it and steep. These are used all over South America and are fun to use for any tea. The gourd will last a very long time. When you receive it, make a strong mate tea and keep it in the gourd overnight. The next day, pour it out and dry it on a towel for 48 hours. This will cure to prevent molding. These are one of a kind, so design, shape and size will vary.
